Typically used in the outloading part of factories, the ALFRA BUV Bulk Outloading System collects large volumes of finished product (meal, pellets, flakes and other types of fragile products) and discharges these into a contra bin, directly into a truck or on a conveyor belt.

Multiple loading and discharge positions

Because the weigher is moveable, it can collect product from a large number of different silos and discharge it at different positions. As it is moveable, there is minimal mechanical transport of the product itself, which is very beneficial for fragile products such as pellets.

Self-learning ALFRA dose&weigh software

The system includes ALFRA dose&weigh software, a self-learning program that optimizes the dosing performance without having to separately fine-tune each individual parameter. The system has special cleaning hatches for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Weighing data can be used for billing

It is possible to use the weighing data from the BUV (when certified calibrated) for payload determination and for billing to customers. This is more accurate than weighing complete trucks and eliminates extra handling by truck drivers. The BUV is certified according to OIML R107 (2007).

Executions and options

Various executions are available, a version for direct truck loading (BUVT), a version for loading via contra bins (BUVC) and a stationary version (BUS). Options for the BUV include a sieve with integrated fines removal system, a dust extraction system (with or without filter) and knockers/vibrators on the weighing hopper.
